One of the more ambitious things I've recently watched a credit team ship onchain. Worth understanding what they're building and why it's hard. Since June, @3janexyz went from proof-of-concept to two live facilities. A $10M senior warehouse line with LendSwift (consumer installment) and ~$8.5M of SMB receivables from Slope (the credit infra behind Slash). Deployment ran $0 → $10M → $49M in three months, USD3 caps are filled, and there's $125M+ in the pipeline across 5+ originators. ~$62M TVL, blended ~12% net. Crazyyy. But traction isn't the only interesting part, the structure is. Most "real world yield" protocols died the same way in 2022: concentrated single-name loans, originator marking its own book, no real loss waterfall. 3Jane built the opposite. Thousands of diversified obligors so no single default moves the pool. Real first-loss equity, under a junior tranche, under senior.
