dYdX rebrands to Arcus to power tokenized stock perps on Robinhood. Market panics and sells $DYDX because Lighter got the bigger logo in the announcement. Now a nearly fully circulating protocol sits at $130M FDV while peers trade at 15x.

dYdX’s second attempt, riding on Robinhood’s coattails, but essentially everyone knows Lighter is its protégé. Moreover, dYdX also faces a major issue: whether it can properly handle legacy tokens. What I'm actually wondering is: How does Lighter operate on TWO chains at the same time ? Two orderbooks ? Shared liquidity ? Cross-chain matching ? Fragmented liquidity is terrible, but if they manage to make it seamless, that's genuinely impressive. Curious to see how they pull this off👀.
